The Water Wych® has been in use for more than 10 years and subjected to extensive tests in the UK and the United States. It has proven to be 100% safe for use in any environment supporting aquatic vegetation or animal life.

The Water Wych® does not need any device to make it work. However, if placed in a pond with a pump and existing filter, it will work even faster. Simply immerse the whole unit in the water and let the magic do it's work. To obtain the best results from your Water Wych®, the water in your pond or water feature should always be maintained at pH levels below 8.0. Of the few customers who have reported poor results using the Water Wych®, it was due to consistently high alkalinity levels - pH 8.5 and above. Reduction of the alkalinity to a level of pH 8.0 or lower results in the Water Wych® becoming totally effective within a couple days. Then within 3 to 4 weeks, the water will become as clear as a mountain stream. The Water Wych® needs no maintenance. Once the contents have become saturated, remove it and replace with a new one. For best results, the Water Wych® should be replaced every 6 to 9 months to ensure algae free water at all times.

Microbe-Lift/Barley Straw Pellets are a safe and cost effective pond conditioner. Natural barley straw and peat has been processed and packaged to make them easy to apply with no mess. The many benefits of barley pellets are their ability to provide sustained release of natural chemicals. Included in this is hydrogen peroxide, which is an oxidizing agent used to keep water clear. Barley pellets contain humic acid and peat which is used to soften pond water and reduce negative effects of phosphates while improving water quality, without harming fish. 4.4 lbs treats a 500 gallon pond for 5 to 7 months.
