Like many of you, we began as hobbyists. In 1998, we built our first pond and purchased our first koi. We became instantly addicted. Since then we have redesigned and enlarged our pond a total of 5 times and have nurtured an extended family of nearly 80 koi. Over the years we've added even more water features to our yard and this passion has turned into a desire to share our enjoyment of koi keeping with others.

In late spring of 2006 we completed a total rebuild of our pond and waterfall. We increased from just under 2 thousand gallons up to 8 thousand gallons and installed the Sacramento Koi Advantage 15 Filtration System including the glass polishing filter and collector box. In addition, we utilize an Elektra Pro EP20 U/V clarifier, dual 4 inch bottom drains with aeration diffusers and 8 eductor jets for continuous circulation. Our filter system is powered by twin 1/2 h.p. PerformancePro Artesian pumps with a 1/3 h.p. PerformancePro Artesian pump dedicated to the jets. The results have been amazing.
